I’m taking a little break this week, but I’ll post a daily photo of what’s growing well in my garden.
Today, it’s Hemerocallis ‘Prince Redbird.’ This daylily is about 18-24″ tall and a relatively early bloomer in my Zone 7 garden.

Love the color of this daylily.
It is really beautiful; such a rich, saturated color. I adore red flowers.
I just discovered your blog. 🙂 I garden in noVA and also have a rain garden that is currently flooded from our downpours! Beautiful daylily! I have a similar patch of red daylilies but I’m not sure what their name is. I’ve been calling them by whatever pops into my mind at the minute and they don’t seem offended.
Thanks for coming by! I just took a look at your blog as well–your clematis are beautiful! I cannot believe all this rain. I certainly picked a good year to install a rain garden.
