Spring splendor



No plant is more glorious in springtime, I think, than the saucer magnolia (Magnolia x soulangeana). It’s impossible to look at these blossoms and not smile.

  1. Agreed. They are magnificent. My dark pink lily-flowered magnolia is almost in full bloom right now. I’ve noticed the same plants seem to bloom here on southern Vancouver Island at the same time as in your part of the world.
