The hosta ‘June’ I misplanted in the sun is faring pretty well despite me. It gets afternoon sun, which may yet prove to be a disaster later in the summer, but for now, it remains in shade until after 2 p.m., and the sun it does get enhances its variegation.
This past weekend offered the first real break in rain we have had in what seems like weeks. If I hoped to finish the rain garden this spring it had to happen now. I have enough projects around here that are three-quarters complete. Continue reading
