Not such a bad mistake
The hosta ‘June’ I misplanted in the sun is faring pretty well despite me. It gets afternoon sun, which may yet prove to be a disaster later in the summer, but for now, it remains in shade until after 2 p.m., and the sun it does get enhances its variegation.
My first mistake, confirmed; now compounded?
Remember when I thought I had mistaken my dormant Hosta ‘June’ for a dormant iris? My mistake was confirmed this week when temperatures in the 80s (26-27C) woke up the Hostas:
