I lived in England for a short time about 20 years ago, and on February 2 of that year I went into my office and wished my colleagues a happy Groundhog Day. They were astonished to learn that it was indeed a real event, not just something ludicrous made up for the Bill Murray movie. I explained the tradition, which I have to admit I rather like. Pointless, for sure, but fun.
And since Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow this past weekend, we can look forward to an early spring. I understand he is correct 50% of the time.
Hope you are having a happy Tuesday.
Here’s to Spring!
