I spotted these fellows this morning when I walked out to get the paper.
I have a lot to learn about identifying frogs and toads, but I think they might be Rana clamitans, the unimaginatively named Green or Bronze Frog.

Very nice! I would like to have some frogs. What kind of pond do you have?
It’s just a very tiny pond, made of a prefab liner that a neighbor gave me when she didn’t want to keep up a pond anymore. I have four, 10c pet shop goldfish that eat any mosquito larvae, and an Iris pseudocorus and a pickerel weed. I’d love to have something larger, but it’s not in the cards for now.
So no running water?
No, not at present. No outlet nearby. Thus the fish are essential.
